How do I schedule a tour?
Simply book online to secure your reservation. Our website has SSL certification which assures the safety of all transactions. Once the tour is confirmed, you will receive a follow-up email with exact instructions and times of departure. Please be sure to bring a valid photo id with you to your tour.

Are the flights safe?
Yes! In addition to having a new and state of the art fleet, all of our helicopters use the Terminal Collision Avoidance System.

Are your pilots experienced?
Yes, once again! All of our pilots are highly trained and experienced. We only use FAA certified pilots who have logged thousands of hours of flight time. If you are familiar with FAA certification, then you already realize that the process is nothing short of extraordinary. You couldn’t be in safer hands than Helicopter New York City.

How many people can a tour accommodate?
The helicopters at New York City Helicopter Tours will accommodate up to 6 passengers.

Are the prices for a individual?
Yes. All prices listed on the site are per person.

What if I have to cancel or reschedule?
Our number one priority is to our customers and their satisfaction. Although we do not encourage it because booking times often fill up, we may be able change your flight schedule with at least 24 hours notice.

Rescheduling
To reschedule your tour, simply contact us 24 hours in advance and we will facilitate the necessary changes. Please note: we cannot reschedule passengers who do not show up at the appointed time.

Canceling
When cancellations are made more than a week in advance, we charge a 15% administration fee. When cancellations are made between a week and 48 hours prior to the departure date, we charge 50% of the total, plus administration fees. Please note: if we are not notified of cancellations at least 48 hours in advance, your entire payment will be nonrefundable.

What should I expect if my flight is canceled due to inclement weather?
Your safety is our first priority. Therefore, in the case of bad weather, helicopter trips will be cancelled. In this situation, we will work to reschedule your flight for a day and time that is convenient for you. If for some reason, we cannot find a suitable time for your trip, we will refund your credit card in full.

Can I hire Helicopter New York for private charter or airport transfers?
Most definitely! Just let us know when and where you need to go, and we will take care of the rest. Please contact us here (insert link to contact page) to schedule your transportation.

What helicopter do you use?

What is the Heliport Fee?
This charge is $12 and mostly covers security costs. The Heliport fee is charged by the downtown Manhattan heliport. It will be assessed when you arrive at the Heliport.

Where can I park?
If you are seeking to park near the Downtown Heliport, we recommend the South Street Seaport, which is just a short walk away from your point of departure.

What about the subway?
The heliport is located just steps away from the 1 train at the South Ferry stop and the R train at the Whitehall stop.
